December Reflections

By: Ill. Jeffrey J. Black, 33°

I hope everyone enjoyed a Happy Thanksgiving holiday.

Congratulations and welcome to our newest members who joined in the Fall Reunion Class of 2016, named in honor of Ill. Robert R. Childers, 33°.  I hope every candidate had an enjoyable experience and that you all plan to become active members in our Valley.

Once again this year our Learning Center is holding the “Trim a Tree” fundraiser.  For a donation of $25.00, there is a purple teddy bear ornament bearing the donor’s name or someone they designate.  For a $10.00 donation, a purple paper bulb ornament or a Star of David ornament will be placed on the tree bearing the donor’s name or that of a designee.  I encourage all our members to participate.

Sublime Prince Jason L. Stitak, Master of Ceremonies for Eliadah Lodge of Perfection has volunteered to update and revamp our website.  It is now ready for traffic.  Please visit our new site at

I invite all Scottish Rite Masons to attend on December 5, 2016 when we will meet in the auditorium at 7:00 pm to witness the 16th Degree in lieu of our Stated Meeting, and I would also like to remind you that our annual Holiday Party will be held in conjunction with Al Koran Shrine at the Shrine on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at 1000 E. Edgerton Road, Broadview Hts., Ohio.  There will be entertainment and every child 12 and under will receive a gift from Santa.  Although there is no cost, RSVP’s are a must.  A list of our upcoming events follows:
